A SACRED SPACE FOR THE URBAN SOUL

PILGRIMAGE WEEKEND-10.jpg

Join us on a pilgrimage
June 7-9, 2024

A creative and contemplative weekend encountering God in three wildly interactive 24-7 public prayer spaces,
learning about their origin story and journey, exploring poignant prayer practices, rich liturgy, thin-space prayer trails, a monastery, labyrinths, and rooftop prayers, all while sharing meaningful times of reflection, feasting, and connection as we pilgrimage from experience to experience together

Prayer

24-7 Prayer began as one small prayer room on the South Coast of England. Since then, there have been over 22,000 prayer rooms in over 155 nations on earth, including the Charlotte Prayer Room in 2005.

CLT is a sacred space for the urban soul.

Mission

Prayer is always the birthplace of mission: a calling to live as Christ followers to the world around us, shining our light beyond the prayer room. Click below to learn more about ways you can serve your community in the Queen City.

Justice

As Christians, we are called by God to seek justice, and pursue it. Our heart for those in need is sparked in prayer when we encounter Jesus, the one who transformed the lives of the poor, broken and neglected. We need to pray for justice but we also need to do it; to be the answer to our prayers and go to those God leads us to.

About us

In 2005, God invited 24-7 to create a Christ-centered space in the city for people to connect with Him one-on-one. A place to host encounters. 24-7 transformed a few thousand sq ft near uptown into a place for you to step out of the fray & refuel.

It's a prayer room for people who live in the real world.

Pray. Read. Reflect. Study. Journal. Intercede. Paint. Draw. Create. Chill. Be still.

Get some one-on-one with God at your own pace - not someone else's.

There are community spaces for groups & plenty of personal spaces for just you.

Ancient & modern liturgy stations help you engage in meaningful conversation with Christ, mission-minded prayer for others, & for issues of justice locally & globally.

Provocative art, great music, a stocked library, comfortable furniture, coffee, Wi-Fi, & plenty of places to plug in your laptop.

Pull aside & encounter God here.
